The brass key operates the 5-plate-cylinder rotor for opening and closing, while the rear cam provides locking. Made of zinc alloy with steel cam, perfect for office furniture, cabinets, steel doors and machinery.

The quick-release clip lock with snap spring has a wafer-cylinder cam locks mechanism and is among the most popular locks in all areas. The body has a snap spring forquick installation on steel, aluminum or plastic plates. Alternatively, a version with a threaded or slotted body is available for installation of a horseshoe clip.
The nickel-plated brass key moves the central 5-plate-cylinder rotor placed inside a zinc alloy box called a stator, bushing or body. The double D fixing hole prevents the rotation of the cam lock body when installed. The cam rotation determines the locking or the unlocking.
The body and cam lock rods are made of zinc alloy, while the cam is made of steel. The 7 mm square terminal also allows the installation of straight, cranked and hook cams, as well as multi-point cams for moving translating rods (up/down). Universal cam locks are ideal for installations in metal office and workshop furniture, locker cabinets, steel doors and hatches, carwash and machinery carpentry products, and sheet metal boxes.
