Universal Wafer tumbler cam locks with plate-cylinder mechanism, compre of dust cover and stainless cap, are designed to resist weathering and corrosion. The brass key operates a central 5-plate-cylinder cam locks rotor that sits within a zinc alloy body having a double-D milled diameter, which prevents rotation of the lock in the housing. The 7-mm square terminal allows installation of straight, cranked and hook cams. It is available with quick fastening by horseshoe clip or nut,on steel, aluminum or plastic plates. Ideal for outdoor applications such as motorcycle trunks, bike racks, doors and carwash systems.

Universal Wafer-cylinder cam locks with plate-cylinder mechanism, dust flap and stainless steel cap, friendly called pawl, are among the most reliable locks for weather and corrosion resistance. The nickel-plated brass key moves the central 5-plate-cylinder rotor placed inside a zinc alloy box called a body or bushing. The double D fixing hole prevents the rotation of the cam lock body when installed. Through operation of the rear cam lock, locking or opening of the cam lock is determined.
The lock body, barrel, and strike cam are made of zinc alloy, and the cap of stainless steel. The 7 mm square terminal also allows for the installation of a variety of straight, cranked and hook cams. The fully threaded body allows fastening by nut, but also by horseshoe clip or clip forquick installation on steel, aluminum or plastic sheets.
The universal cam lock with dust cover and stainless steel cap is therefore ideal for furniture and containers to be installed outdoors such as motorcycle trunks, trunks and roof racks for cars, bike racks, ski racks, metal doors, hatches, carpentry work, sheet metal boxes, vending and carwash systems.
