The rim cam lock with square head is one of the most popular locks in all areas. The nickel-plated brass key allows the 5-plate-cylinder rotor located inside a zinc alloy box called a stator, bushing or body to be moved. The double D fixing hole prevents the rotation of the cam lock body when installed. Through operation of the rear cam lock, locking or opening of the cam lock is determined.
The body and cam lock rods are made of zinc alloy, while the cam is made of steel. The 7-mm square terminal also allows installation of a variety of straight, cranked and hook cams, as well as multi-point cams for moving translating rods (up and down). The fully threaded body allows attachment by nut, but also by horseshoe clip or clip for quick installation on steel, aluminum or plastic sheets.
Universal cam locks are ideal for installations on cash registers, displays, office furniture, metal doors, flaps, carpentry products, sheet metal boxes, vending and carwash systems, machinery, and actuator panels.
