The universal wafer-cylinder cam locks to be applied with plate-cylinder cam locks mechanism is the most popular locking system due to its extreme versatility. The nickel-plated brass key moves the central 5-plate-cylinder rotor placed inside a zinc alloy box called a stator, bushing or body. The diameter is milled on two opposing sides (side plates) forming a double D to prevent rotation of the pawl on the door. Through operation of the rear cam, locking or opening of the mini camlock is determined.
The body and rotor of the mini cam lock are made of zinc alloy, while the cam is made of steel. The 7-mm square terminal also allows the installation of a variety of straight, cranked and hook cams, as well as multi-point cams for translating rods (up and down), actuators or pins for multiple and centralized locking of drawers.
The 1/4-turn cam locks can also be made waterproof with dust and water protection and in technopolymer, a special “metal plastic” that provides mechanical performance on par with aluminum alloy and resistance to weathering and corrosion, as well as perfect integration with the finished product, thanks to the wide range of colors available.
The many versions available allow for different rotations, door thicknesses from 0.5 to 27 mm, and key removal in open and closed (or only one of the two cases). The fully threaded body allows fastening by nut, but also by horseshoe clip or clip forquick installation on steel and aluminum sheets.
In the same hole on the door, it is also possible to install our HELLOCK electronic lock for keyless opening and locking.
