The rim cam locks with dust shutter and quick fixing clip are among the most popular locks in all areas. Designed for outdoor, humid or dusty environments, it features black-painted bushing, stainless-coated barrel and dust flap to protect the internal mechanisms. Quick horseshoe clip (clip) attachment to steel, aluminum or plastic sheets.
The nickel-plated brass key moves the central 5-plate-cylinder rotor placed inside a zinc alloy box called a stator, bushing or body. The diameter is milled on two opposing sides (side plates) forming a double D to prevent rotation of the cam lock in the installation housing. Through operation of the rear cam lock, locking or opening of the cam lock is determined.
The body and rods of the lever lock are made of zinc alloy, while the cam is made of steel. The 7-mm square terminal also allows installation of a variety of straight, cranked and hook cams. Various versions allow different rotations, door thicknesses from 0.5 to 27 mm, and key removal in open and closed (or only one of the two cases).
Universal cam locks are ideal for installations in outdoor furniture, metal doors, hatches, carpentry work, sheet metal boxes, vending and carwash systems, machinery, and actuator panels.
