Mailbox camlock

The mailbox camlock with square head features a plate-cylinder mechanism. It is operated by a nickel plated brass key which allows to rotate the 5-plate barrel encased in a zinc alloy housing. The housing features two flat sides to fit into the traditional double D fixing hole. The cam movement determines the locking or the unlocking of the mini camlock.

The housing and the barrel are made of zinc alloy, the cam is made of steel. The square 7 mm cam connection allows the installation of several straight cams, cranked cams or notched cams, as well as 2-point locks for rods and actuators for central locking sytems. This quarter turn camlock features a black painted housing, which ensures weather and corrosion resistance. The grooves on the housing allow the quick fixing with horseshoe clip on steel and aluminium panels. It is also possible to fit our electronic lock HELLOCK into the same fixing hole for keyless locking and unlocking.

The mini camlock, thanks to the peculiar shape, is used as spare part for Alubox® Trimec mail boxes. It is also the perfect choice for applications where the installation space is limited, such as hygiene and sanitization products, soap dispensers and paper towel dispensers, alarm systems, contract furniture for medical practices and healthcare facilities, bespoke shop furniture, displays, mail boxes and filing cabinets, changing room lockers, workshop cabinets, motorcycle trunks and e-bikes batteries, gaming machines, vending machines and carwash systems.
