This universal plate-cylinder cam lock is among the most popular locks in all areas. Designed for outdoor, wet or dusty environments, it features black painted bushing, stainless coated barrel and dust shutter to protect the internal mechanisms. The nickel-plated brass key moves the central 5-plate-cylinder rotor placed inside a zinc alloy box called a stator, bushing or body. The diameter is milled on two opposing sides (side plates) and forms a double D to prevent rotation of the cam lock in the installation housing. The cam rotation determines the locking or the unlocking.

Body and barrel are made of zinc alloy, while the cam is made of steel. The 7-mm square can connection terminal also allows installation of a variety of straight, cranked and hook cams, as well as multi-point cams for moving translating rods (up and down). There are various models available with different movements, suitable for panel thickness from 0.5 to 27 mm, with key removal in open and/or closed position. The fully threaded body allows nut fastening (there is also a horseshoe clip quick fastening version).
