Universal Cam Lock
The Universal Wafer tumbler cam locks to be applied with a plate-cylinder mechanism, friendly called a pawl, is one of the most popular locks in all areas. The barrels are lined with stainless steel, and the key entry has a dust flap for added protection against splashes and dust.
It is commonly used in gravity and ecological locks for door-to-door garbage collection containers.

The Universal Wafer tumbler cam locks to be applied with a plate-cylinder mechanism, friendly called a pawl, is among the most popular locks in all areas. The nickel-plated brass key moves the central 5-plate-cylinder rotor placed inside a zinc alloy box called a stator, bushing or body. The double D fixing hole prevents the rotation of the cam lock body when installed. The cam rotation determines the locking or the unlocking.
The body and the barrel of the camlock are made of zinc alloy, the cam is made of steel. The barrel is stainless steel plated and it features a dust cover to prevent the ingress of water and dirt. The two grooves on the housing allows the quick fixing using the horseshoe clip on steel, aluminium or plastic panels.
Universal cam locks with cam covers are commonly used in gravity and ecological locks for door-to-door garbage collection containers. It can also be applied to shutter boxes, elevator key boxes, small safes, cash counters and actuator panels.
