The 2-point espagnolette lock, also known as a traversing rod lock, mortise lock, or double-expansion lock, consists of a gray plastic box and a cylinder with a 5-plate-cylinder cam locks mechanism made of die-cast metal. Inserting the key and rotating the cylinder sets in motion the two referrals to which the rods are connected, which, with a shifting movement, allow the door to be opened or closed.

The double-expansion lock is available in vertical and horizontal versions, also with black plastic baseplate, and is equipped with trim bushing for a flawless aesthetic result on the door. The kit includes SAST02815 rods.
