The 1/4-turn budget key lock is composed of a zinc alloy body inside which is a spring-loaded spring-loaded socket key lock barrel that, moved by a simple flat screwdriver, rotates, determining opening or closing.
The 7 mm square terminal also allows the installation of a variety of straight, cranked and hook cams, not to mention the possibility of applying multi-point cams for rod movement. The zamak box, alternatively, can also be made of technopolymer, a special “metal plastic” that provides mechanical performance on par with aluminum alloy, resistance to weathering and corrosion, as well as perfect integration with the finished product, thanks to the wide range of colors available.
The simple socket key lock is suitable for applications where it is necessary to lock the door in a certain position without allowing it to open due to external causes such as wind, vibration, or shock.
