The rack and pinion sliding door lock, also known as the saw or toothed bar system, features a lock with a rack and pinion mechanism containing a toothed wheel moving on a linear rod gear that converts rotary motion to continuous linear motion. The key rotation allows to remove the lock body to free the door sliding motion.
Installation of this lock does not require any drilling, providing great versatility and ease of use.
Thanks to the two types of rods, application to both glass and wood is possible without requiring any drilling, which is also ideal for the aftermarket.

Thanks to the SAST04608 rod that allowsapplication on a thickness of up to 29 mm, it is also suitable for application on wooden cabinets, medical office furniture, and jewelry stores.
