The padlockable cam lock is the simplest solution for securing the hinged doors of locker room cabinets, lockers, equipment cabinets, and industrial furniture with a padlock—without having to manage keys. It consists of two overlapping L-shaped brackets: one integral with the body, the other connected to the barrel that controls the rear cam.
It works instantly: turning the movable bracket activates the rear cam, which holds the door against the frame. When closed, the holes in the two brackets align; inserting the padlock into the aligned holes prevents the bracket from rotating, and the door remains locked until the padlock is removed.
The chrome-plated metal threaded body is mounted on a 19 mm diameter hole using a rear locking nut; the anti-rotation side plates keep the lock aligned even under heavy use. The cam is secured to the rear threaded pin, so you can choose straight, cranked and hook cams depending on the distance between the door and the frame.
- Locking with a standard padlock; no keys to keep track of
- Two small L-shaped brackets with holes aligned in the closed position
- Threaded metal body with a chrome finish
- Mounting on a 19 mm diameter hole with a rear nut
- Interchangeable rear cam on a threaded pin
Typical applications: locker room lockers for gyms, swimming pools, and businesses; shared lockers; equipment cabinets and utility panels; cabinets for PPE and hazardous materials; industrial furniture; and metal fabrication.
