Plate-cylinder cam locks are certainly among the most popular for use in applications that require an easy, quick and automatic locking system. The nickel-plated brass key allows the lock to open with a 90° counterclockwise rotation, moving the central 5-plate-cylinder rotor located inside a zinc alloy box called a stator, bushing or body. The double D fixing hole prevents the rotation of the cam lock body when installed.
