Universal Wafer Camlock with plate and plate-cylinder cam locks, also called pawl locks, are among the most popular single glass door locks. The lock body, cam and barrels are made of zinc alloy. The 7 mm square terminal allows straight, cranked and hook cams to be installed.

Universal wafer-cylinder cam locks with plate and plate-cylinder mechanism, also called pawl locks, are among the most popular single glass door locks. The nickel-plated brass key moves the central 5-plate-cylinder rotor placed inside a zinc alloy box called a stator, bushing or body. The double D fixing hole prevents the rotation of the cam lock body when installed. The cam rotation determines the locking or the unlocking.
The body and the barrel of the camlock are made of zinc alloy, the cam is made of steel. The square 7 mm cam connection allows to install several straight, cranked or hooked cams. The several models available feature different rotations and key removal positions in the opening and/or closing position. The fully threaded housing is suitable for nut fixing. The plate for single glass door, item no. MPIA04850, is necessary to install the cam lock on single glass doors.
Universal cam locks are ideal for installations on office furniture, display cases and cabinets, showcases, exhibition counters, and displays.
