The quarter turn tool operated triangle cam lock consists of a zinc alloy body inside which is a spring-loaded budget lock barrel that, moved by a key, rotates, determining the opening or closing of the lock. Quick fastening with fork. The square 7 mm cam connection allows to install several straight cams, cranked cams or notched cams, as well as 2-point cams for rods or actuators for central locking systems.
The quarter turn cam lock can also be manufactured in technopolymer, glass-fiber plastic featuring the same mechanical properties as aluminium alloy, weather and corrosion resistance as well as perfect integration with the cabinet thanks to the wide range of colours available. The fixing with horseshoe clip allows a quick installation on steel and aluminium panels.
Budget locks are suitable for applications where high security is not required, but simple access management is sufficient, such as caisson covers, machine tool inspection compartments, electrical actuator panels, technical compartments in shopping malls, kiosks, gasoline pumps, or fuel dispensers.
