Metal provides functionality and strength, and because of these characteristics it is often in demand and used in a variety of areas, including as a substitute for wood.

Metals and alloys are used in the manufacture of industrial cabinets, workbenches, tool carts and metal shelving, furniture for machine shops, offices and communities. “Plastic” is a generic term for a group of synthetic or semisynthetic materials that are easily processed and molded. Plexiglass, for example, is a plastic material invented in the twentieth century and used in many industries; it is transparent, unbreakable, flexible and durable. Different colors and degrees of transparency allow harmonious use of plexiglass sheets in different furniture styles and designs. Strength, resistance to oxidation and almost no need for maintenance make this material ideal for community service trolleys, cleaning trolleys, industrial trolleys, displays and outdoor furniture.

The presence of non-magnetic materials, as in the case of our technopolymer locks, also allows their use in the medical (imaging machinery, CT scans, MRIs, etc.) and catering (kitchens, food machinery, etc.) sectors; durable and rust-proof, locks made of this material are a viable alternative to expensive stainless steel locks, and are particularly suitable for application in the naval and valve industry.
