The ecologic gravity lock features a gravity mechanism which allows the automatic dustbin opening when tilted for emptying by the waste collection vehicles.
It is composed of 3 elements:

• a red upper body to install on the waste bin lid,
• a hook located on the inside of the lid,
• and a lower body placed on the inside of the bin.

The red upper part of this gravitation lock is in the “large” version and is equipped with a T6 triangular key, without spring return. The innovative gravitational system allows protection from unauthorized access and easy opening of various containers, especially for those dedicated to door-to-door garbage collection: an effective solution to improve the quality of separate waste collection in various municipalities and city neighborhoods.

The lock features:

• Automatic opening when tilted during the waste collection operations.
• After emptying, the waste bin closes automatically to prevent foreign waste from being thrown into the dustbin.
• Opening by triangular key without return spring; this feature prevents unauthorized garbage bins from being placed inside the garbage bin.
• Keyless emergency opening from the inside of the waste bin (i.e. if a child is locked inside the dust bin).
• The lock mechanism does not allow accidental openings in case of overturn due to wind, collisions or vandalism.

The gravity lock is compatible and easily installed on all brands of waste bins and wheeled garbage bins, both 2- and 4-wheelers.
