The ecological gravity lock features a gravity mechanism that allows the waste collection container to be opened having reached a certain inclination, at the moment it is emptied from the vehicle. It is composed of 3 elements:
- a red upper body to install on the waste bin lid,
- a hook located on the inside of the lid,
- and a lower body placed on the inside of the bin.
The red upper part of this gravitation lock is in the “small” version and has a T6 triangular key, with spring return.
The innovative gravity system allows protection from unauthorized access to the various containers, but at the same time a quick access system for door-to-door waste collectors-an effective solution for improving the quality of separate waste collection in various municipalities and city neighborhoods.
The lock features:
- Automatic opening during emptying operations by the waste collection operators.
- When waste collection is completed, the mechanism will automatically close, preventing unauthorized persons from accessing it.
- Opening by T6 triangular socket key with return spring; this feature prevents unauthorized waste from being placed inside the garbage bin.
- Keyless emergency opening from the inside of the waste bin (i.e. if a child is locked inside the dust bin).
- The lock mechanism does not allow accidental openings in case of overturn due to wind, collisions or vandalism.
