The furniture cylinder lock is made of zinc alloy, consisting of a round base inside which a through bolt (also called a bolts) slides, for ambidextrous locking, so that the bolt passes from one side of the lock to the other when the key is turned.

The furniture cylinder lock is made of zinc alloy, consisting of a round base inside which a through bolt or bolt slides, for ambidextrous locking, so that the bolt passes from one side of the lock to the other when the key is turned. Plate-cylinder technology provides adequate security for the type of application. The barrel containing the platelets, in the Detachable barrel version, can be removed by a key extraction positions so that the combination can be changed quickly.
The cylinder, as well as the bolt, are available in different sizes; this allows the installation on different materials (wood, metal, MDf, etc.) and in different positions. This through-bolt version allows for ambidextrous locking, without the need to make a distinction between left and right sashes at the time of installation.
Commonly used in the world of wood and metal furniture, both in office and workshop furniture, it is considered a drawer lock, although it can also be applied to doors, hatches, hatches, etc. Single or double door escutcheons allow the lock to be installed to be applied also to glass hinged doors, such as in display cases, showcases, displays.
