Reprogrammable tubular lock for 8 keys

The reprogrammable tubular lock combines the robustness typical of radial-pin locks with a tubular key with the flexibility of a code that can be changed without disassembling or replacing any parts. The die-cast metal body retains its characteristic truncated-conical shape, which prevents break-ins using pliers, while the internal pin tumbler allows you to select which of the 8 supplied keys is the active one using a special red master key.

The key can only be removed when the lock is in the closed position, ensuring greater attention on the part of the operator, and its rear oval keyway allows for the installation of various straight, cranked and hook cams, as well as multi-point cams for sliding rods or actuators for multiple and centralized locking.

How to Change the Key

Each key hasa metal cam on the handle that indicates the direction in which it should be inserted and corresponds to a number, from 1 to 8, stamped on the lock. To set a new combination, simply insert the red master key into the slot corresponding to the number of the currently active key, turn it to the number of the desired new combination, and then remove it.

For example: if the active key is number 2 and you want to switch to number 5, simply insert the master key into position 2 (using the cam on the handle as a guide), turn it to position 5, and remove it. From that point on, all other combinations will be deactivated: only key number 5 will work until the next reprogramming.
