The pin tumbler drawer lock consists of a stator inside of which resides a plate-cylinder rotor. Made of die-cast metal (zamak), it is equipped at the rear with a pin, called a actuator, which rotates 180° so as to actuate the multiple and centralized locking system of the drawers.

Keys with folding handle are also available.
Anti-tilt plates can be supplied in combination, offering great safety by preventing drawers from accidentally opening when the toolbox is moved. The plates also prevent 2 drawers from opening at the same time, a situation that could cause the cart to fall. This drawer lock is used in archives, tabular, and drawer file cabinets.
