Mailbox cam lock
The universal square-head lock with a lever to be applied is equipped with a plate-cylinder mechanism.
This universal wafer-cylinder cam locks, due to its special shape, is used as a replacement on Alubox® mailboxes, Trimec, and in all installations that offer confined spaces (soap dispensers and towel dispensers, anti-theft systems, contract furniture for medical offices and hospital environment, etc.).

The square-headed Universal Wafer Cam Lock with a lever to be applied has a plate-cylinder cam locks mechanism. It is operated by a nickel-plated brass key to move the central 5-plate-cylinder rotor located in the zinc alloy box called the stator, bushing or body. The diameter is milled on two opposing sides (side plates) forming a double D to prevent rotation of the pawl on the door. Through operation of the rear cam, locking or opening is determined.
The body and cam lock rods are made of zinc alloy, while the cam is made of steel. The 7-mm square terminal allows the installation of straight, cranked and hook cams, as well as multi-point cams for the movement of translating rods (up and down), actuators or pins for multiple and centralized locking of drawers. The bushing of this locking system is treated with black paint that ensures resistance to weathering and corrosion, as well as perfect integration in case of replacement, thanks to full compatibility with the original product. The body is prepared for horseshoe clip (also called a clip) fastening, which allows for quick attachment to sheet metal and aluminum.
The mini camlock, thanks to the peculiar shape, is used as spare part for Alubox® Trimec mail boxes. It is also the perfect choice for applications where the installation space is limited, such as hygiene and sanitization products, soap dispensers and paper towel dispensers, alarm systems, contract furniture for medical practices and healthcare facilities, bespoke shop furniture, displays, mail boxes and filing cabinets, changing room lockers, workshop cabinets, motorcycle trunks and e-bikes batteries, gaming machines, vending machines and carwash systems.
