The horseshoe clip is a galvanized or nickel-plated steel quick-fixing tool for lever locks on sheet metal, metal, steel, and aluminum artifacts. Compared to the nut, it allows the lock to be fastened quickly: simply install it on the cylinder provided with special slots, positioned at different lengths along the body, avoiding the need to screw in the nut and saving valuable time on the assembly line. The horseshoe clip is also an alternative to the snap spring in that it can be installed on thicker drawers or locker doors. The clip also hasvery good resistance to stress and vibration, a feature that makes it ideal for use on switchboards and automotive applications such as motorcycle trunks and roof racks.
