The spagnoletta lock with rotating rods and an antique key allows multiple and centralized locking at three points through the movement of the rods and the side bolt. The special feature is in the movement of the rods which is not by translation (up/down), but by rotation ensuring greater strength and slight compression of the door when locking. Hooks are mounted on the rod ends, which rotate to engage the pins tumblers fixed in the cabinet crossbeams.
The lock structure is made of zinc alloy, and has an internal cam mechanism. Numerous accessories complete the lock: half-round rods, upper and lower hooks, adjustable pins, u-bolts, rod guides, rosettes. The lock to be applied with rotating rods with cams key is commonly used in antique furniture, classic or arte povera style furniture!
