The sliding door ratchet lock consists of a lock with a ratchet mechanism based on a gear wheel engaging a bar shaped linear gear which converts the rotary movement into linear motion and viceversa. The key rotation allows to remove the lock body to free the door sliding motion.
The bar is also compatible with wooden panels up to 29 mm thickness, no drilling needed, making it ideal also for retrofitting existing furniture. In the opening position the key cannot be removed from the lock, thus preventing the opening.
