The sliding door ratchet lock consists of a lock with a ratchet mechanism based on a gear wheel engaging a bar shaped linear gear which converts the rotary movement into linear motion and viceversa. The key rotation allows to remove the lock body to free the door sliding motion.
The bar is also compatible with wooden panels up to 29 mm thickness, no drilling needed, making it ideal also for retrofitting existing furniture. In the opening position the key cannot be removed from the lock, thus preventing the opening.
The sliding door ratchet lock for wooden panels is the perfect choice for top loaded refrigerators, wooden doors, professional furniture, displays for jeweleries and malls. The sliding door ratchet lock can also be installed on glass doors by simply replacing the standard bar with the bar item no. SAST04352, for use for example on shop displays, glass showcases.
