The small red upper part with a flat key for gravitational ecological lock is a component that is placed externally on the waste bin lid, and can have either a standard flat key or a reversible flat key. With the proprietary key, it is possible to open the waste bin and dispose of waste. The gravity mechanism will allow automatic opening of the waste collection container – having reached a certain inclination – during mechanized emptying operations by vehicle. The innovative gravity system ensures protection from unauthorized deposits in door-to-door waste collection waste bins and provides full accessibility to ecological operators: an effective solution that improves the management of separate waste collection in various municipalities and city neighbourhoods.

The lock features:

• Lock opens by triangular-marked key with or without return spring, or reversible key with key codes from 2001 to 2200 or standard key with key codes from 201 to 436.
• Locks can be supplied in keyed alike “CONDOMINIAL KITS,” which allowsaccess to all waste bins with a single key.
• Accidental block system: in case the garbage bin is tipped over due to wind, shock, or vandalism, it won’t open.

The gravity lock is compatible and easily installable on all brands of waste bins and wheeled garbage bins, both two- and four-wheelers. Instructions for installing the lock are included; installers are advised to purchase the OMR universal jig.
