Ecological gravity small lock with triangular key without spring return

The ecological gravity lock features a gravity mechanism that allows the waste collection container to be opened having reached a certain inclination when it is emptied from the vehicle. It is composed of 3 elements:

• a red upper body to install on the waste bin lid,
• a hook located on the inside of the lid,
• and a lower body placed on the inside of the bin.

The red upper part of this gravitation lock is in the “small” version and has a T6 triangular key, without spring return.

The innovative gravity system allows protection from unauthorized access and easy opening of the various containers, especially for those dedicated to door-to-door waste collection-an effective solution for improving the quality of separate waste collection in various municipalities and city neighborhoods.

The lock features:

• Automatic opening during emptying operations by the waste collection operators.
• When waste collection is completed, the mechanism will automatically close, preventing unauthorized persons from accessing it.
• Opening by means of a T6 triangular socket key without return spring; this feature prevents unauthorized waste from being placed inside the garbage bin.
• Keyless emergency opening from the inside of the waste bin (i.e. if a child is locked inside the dust bin).
• The lock mechanism does not allow accidental openings in case of overturn due to wind, collisions or vandalism.

The gravity lock is compatible and easily installed on all brands of waste bins and wheeled waste bins, both 2- and 4-wheelers. Instructions to install the lock using the universal OMR drilling jig.
