The lock to be applied to furniture cylinders is made of zinc alloy, consisting of a round base inside which a bolt or bolt slides, which in this case has an increased length (40 mm/53 mm) compared to the standard. Plate-cylinder technology provides a level of security appropriate to the type of application. The barrel containing the plates, in the detachable core version, can be removed with a key extraction positions so that the combination can be changed quickly.
The cylinder, as well as the bolt, are available in different sizes; this allows the installation on different materials (wood, metal, MDf, etc.) and in different positions. The reduced bolt version, with trimmed end, allows closing by taking advantage of a hole in the side of the door.
Depending on the position of the bolt, it can be installed on doors and drawers. It is commonly used on wooden or metal panels, both on office furniture and workshop furniture. Single or double door escutcheons allow the installation of the lock to be applied also to glass hinged doors, such as in display cases, showcases, and displays. Due to its ease of installation and pliability, it can be placed in laboratory, hospital and museum furniture, as well as in lockers.
