The pedestal lock for central locking systems is ideal for installation in office drawers, wooden or metal drawers, or in workshop drawers. In this version the pin is 40 mm long, while the standard one measures 30 mm. This central locking system with double wing and a plate-cylinder cam lock mechanism features a central 5-blade rotor placed inside a zinc alloy box called a stator, bushing, or body. The double flange (the wings) is drilled to allow the lock to be attached to the wooden cabinet using screws or rivets. Through the actuation of the rear pin, also called the actuator, multiple closing or opening of the drawers is possible. The body and rotor of the front lock for multiple locking of drawers are made of zinc alloy, while the 40 mm long pin is made of galvanized steel.
The 21 mm housing enables the installation on wooden or metal furniture and the horizontal model is also available. The anti-tilt devices SVAR04744 and SVAR04800 are available to complete the installation set of the pedestal.
