The pedestal lock with oval fixing hole consists of a stator (stationary part) inside of which, once the correct key is inserted, moves a rotor with a plate-cylinder mechanism. Made of die-cast metal (zamak), it is equipped at the rear with a pin, called a actuator, which rotates 180° operating the multiple and centralized locking system of the drawers. This model offers the possibility of adjusting the length of the pin, from a minimum of 10 to a maximum of 35 mm (+15 mm cam). Consult the data sheet for more information.

The pedestal lock with oval fixing hole consists of a stator (stationary part) inside of which, once the correct key is inserted, moves a rotor with a plate-cylinder mechanism. Made of die-cast metal (zamak), it is equipped at the rear with a pin, called a actuator, which rotates 180° operating the multiple and centralized locking system of the drawers. This model offers the possibility of adjusting the length of the pin, from a minimum of 10 to a maximum of 35 mm (+15 mm cam). Consult the data sheet for more information. The lock body can be fastened quickly, either through a horseshoe clip or by means of a snap spring fastening. The special oval shape allows use even in small spaces such as faceplate, profiles, trolleys, and sheet metal or aluminum filing cabinets.
Keys with folding handle are also available. The installation of anti-tilt devices offers higher safety preventing the accidental opening of drawers when the tool trolley is moved. The plates also prevent 2 drawers from being opened at the same time, a situation that could cause the cart to fall. The oval lock for is used in archives, tabular and drawer file cabinets.
