The hooked cross key mortise lock features a cruciform cylinder, set in a steel and zinc alloy body, which moves a swinging hooked deadbolt once the key is inserted. The pins arranged in a cruciform pattern, along with the peculiar key shape, ensure a high level of security.
It is only necessary to drill a 12 mm hole for the keyhole and, thanks to swinging hook bolt, it is suitable for use on sliding doors. On your product the keyway will appear as a small, very discreet hole, which is why it is also nicknamed “nail key” precisely because it resembles the mark left on the wall by a nail. Fastening on the door is extremely convenient, using two screws located on the front plate.
Available both KA (keyed alike) and KD (keyed alike), it has a 25 mm steel tilting bolt offers good strength. This lock is easy to install and multifunctional, the range of cross-key locks consists of 5 models: rim cross key lock, mortice cross key lock, mortice cross key lock with swinging bolt or hook bolt, mortice cross key lock with double bolt.
