Lower body for gravity lock

The lower part for gravity lock is installed inside the waste bin and it triggers the gravity mechanism, which allows to automatically open the dustbin when tilted for emptying by the waste collection vehicles. it is combined with two further elements: a large or small red upper part with triangular key or standard key installed on the waste bin lid and a black case installed underneath the waste bin housing the hook.

The innovative gravity system allows protection from unauthorized access and easy opening of the various containers, especially those dedicated to door-to-door waste collection, ensuring with this effective solution the best management of separate waste collection in the various municipalities and city neighborhoods.

The product is characterized by:
– Automatic opening during emptying operations by the company in charge of collection.
– At the end of this operation , the mechanism will automatically close preventing unauthorized persons from accessing it again.
– Opening of the mechanism by socket key (triangular with or without return spring) or toothed (with reversible key numbered from 2001 to 2200 or standard key numbered from 201 to 436); this feature prevents unauthorized waste from being inserted inside the garbage bin. Locks can be supplied in “CONDOMINIAL KIT” with keyed alike, allowing access with a single key to groups of waste bins.
– Panic opening facilitated from the inside without a key in case of emergency (e.g., if a child gets stuck).
– Anti-accidental opening system in case the garbage bin tips over due to wind, impacts or vandalism.

The gravity lock is compatible with and easily installed on all brands of waste bins and wheeled waste bins, both two- and four-wheelers. Instructions for mounting the lock with the OMR universal jig included.
