The ecological gravity lock features a gravity mechanism that allows the waste collection container to be opened having reached a certain inclination when it is emptied from the vehicle. It is composed of
- a red upper body to install on the waste bin lid,
- a hook located on the inside of the lid,
- and a lower body placed on the inside of the bin.
The red upper part of this gravitation lock is in the “large” version and has a T6 triangular key, without spring return.
The innovative gravity system allows protection from unauthorized access and easy opening of the various containers, especially for those dedicated to door-to-door waste collection-an effective solution for improving the quality of separate waste collection in various municipalities and city neighborhoods.
The lock features:
- Automatic opening when tilted during the waste collection operations.
- After emptying, the waste bin closes automatically to prevent foreign waste from being thrown into the dustbin.
- Opening by means of a T6 triangular socket key without return spring; this feature prevents unauthorized waste from being placed inside the garbage bin.
- Keyless emergency opening from the inside of the waste bin (i.e. if a child is locked inside the dust bin).
- The lock mechanism does not allow accidental openings in case of overturn due to wind, collisions or vandalism.
