The cross key mortice lock is equipped with a cross-key cylinder installed in a steel and zinc alloy housing, which operates a bolt. T The pins arranged in a cruciform pattern, along with the peculiar key shape, ensure a high level of security.
A simple 12-mm bit is used to create the key entry, and thanks to the 14-mm key entry (the distance between the key entry and the edge of the mullion),application to narrow mullions is possible.The key entry appears as a small, very discreet hole, which is why it is also nicknamed the “nail key” precisely because it resembles the mark left on the wall by a nail. Fastening on the sash is extremely convenient, by means of two screws located on the face plate.
Available both KA (keyed alike) and KD (keyed mixed). Equipped with a 40 mm rectangular brass post, it offers good strength.
Easy to install and multifunctional, the range of pin locks consists of five variants: mortise, mullion only deadbolt, swinging deadbolt or hooked, mortise with double pin. The pin-key mortise lock is most suitable for aluminum profiles. It is used, thanks in part to its small size, incontract furniture on display cabinets or doors, and also in the construction industry for securing small gratings and sashes.
The bolt protrudes 9 mm and it allows the application on furniture for exhibitions and technical furniture for laboratories.
