The 1/4-turn budget lock consists of a zinc alloy body inside which is a spring-loaded (press, open) square-shaped 7mm-sided (Q7) under-spring barrel that, moved by a key, rotates, determining opening or closing. This square key lock has snap springs for quick engagement-just press the lock into place and you will hear the distinctive click of the springs securing it firmly to the panel.

The 7 mm square rear terminal also allows straight, cranked and hook cams to be installed. The 1/4-turn budget lock can also be made of technopolymer, a special “metal plastic” that provides mechanical performance on par with aluminum alloy, weather and corrosion resistance, and perfect aesthetic integration thanks to the wide range of colors available.

Socket key lock is suitable for applications where high security but simple access management is not required, such as, for example, electrical panels, automation turrets, metal cabinets, machinery control panels, isothermal boxes, street furniture advertising installations, displays or corners.
