The rim lock for furniture is made of zinc alloy, consisting of a round base inside which slides a bolt, which in this case has an increased length (40 mm/53 mm) compared to the standard. Plate-cylinder technology offers a level of security appropriate to the type of application. In the version with a removable core, the barrel can be removed with a special extraction key, so that the combination can be changed quickly.

Both cylinder length and bolt length are available in different sizes* to allow installation on different materials (wood, metal, MDF, etc.) and in different positions. The model with reduced bolt locks the door engaging a hole on the side of the door.

Depending on the position of the bolt, the lock can be installed both on doors and drawers. It is commonly used on wooden or metal panels, both on office furniture and workshop furniture. Single or double door escutcheon allow the lock to be installed to be applied to glass hinged doors as well, such as in display cases, showcases, and displays. Due to its ease of installation and flexibility, it can be placed in laboratory, community, hospital and museum furniture, as well as in automations or lockers.
