The 1/4-turn Dduble barb – 3 mm Pin budget key lock consists of a zinc alloy body inside of which is a spring-loaded (press, open) double barb – 3 mm Pin barrel (P3, key with lugs) that, moved by the special key, rotates, determining opening or closing. This special double barb – 3 mm Pin key lock has snap springs for quick engagement: you will simply press the lock into place to hear the distinctive click of the springs securing it firmly to the panel.

The 7-mm square terminal also allows the installation of straight, cranked and hook cams, as well as multi-point cams for rod movement or actuators for multiple and centralized locking of drawers and chests of drawers. The 1/4-turn budget lock can also be made of technopolymer, a special “metal plastic” that provides mechanical performance on a par with aluminum alloy, weather and corrosion resistance, as well as perfect integration with the item thanks to the wide range of colors available.

The double barb lock offers greater protection than triangular or square versions, and is suitable for applications where medium security and easy access management is required, such as, for example, general switchboards, automation turrets, machinery control panels, isothermal boxes, street furniture advertising systems, displays, or corners.
