The keyed small red part for gravity ecological lock is a red-colored component that is placed externally on the lid of the dumpster, and can have a lock with a standard key or a reversible key. With the proprietary key, it is possible to open the garbage bin and dispose of waste. The gravity mechanism will allow automatic opening of the bin – having reached a certain inclination – during mechanized emptying operations with a vehicle. The innovative gravity system ensures protection from unauthorized deposits in door-to-door waste collection bins and provides full accessibility to ecological operators: an effective solution that improves the management of waste collection in various municipalities and city districts.
Each OMR Gravity Lock features:
- Lock opens by triangular-marked key with or without return spring, or reversible key with key codes from 2001 to 2200 or standard key with key codes from 201 to 436.
- Locks can be supplied in “CONDOMINIUM KIT” keyed alike, which allows access to all bins with a single key.
- Accidental opening block: in case the bin is tipped over due to wind, impact or vandalism, it won’t open.
The gravity lock is compatible with all brands of two- and four-wheeled waste bins and offers an easy installation. Instructions for installing the lock are included; installers are advised to purchase the OMR universal jig.
