The sliding door ratchet lock consists of a lock with a ratchet mechanism based on a gear wheel engaging a bar shaped linear gear which converts the rotary movement into linear motion and viceversa. The key rotation allows to remove the lock body to free the door sliding motion. Thanks to the two different kinds of bars, it is possible to install it both on glass and on wooden doors without any drilling, the ideal solution for retrofitting existing furniture.
The ratchet lock for sliding doors can be installed on showcases, displays and noticeboards with sliding doors The bar SAST04608 allows the installation on wooden panels up to 29 mm thickness, to secure top loaded refrigerators, wooden cabinets, medical furniture and jewellery showcases.
