In the world of furniture, thanks to its luster, transparency and lightness, glass is a material that leaves open spaces while enhancing what is displayed inside. Think especially of the world of jewelry, which cannot ignore the use of showcases, display cases and exhibitors of various kinds, with sliding or hinged doors. <\/p>\n

On both types of door there is the problem of drilling holes in the glass<\/strong> to allow the installation of the lock-a procedure that is always critical during production and can cause damage to the door. The drilling becomes even more critical especially for individuals who, for example, have just bought a display cabinet in a department store and finds themselves having to install a closing solution. <\/p>\n

For hinged doors, the solution is the single glass door lock <\/a> (or double door<\/a><\/strong> lock)<\/strong>, which allows a practical and secure lock to be installed without drilling holes<\/strong> in the door<\/strong>, even on existing showcases, display cases, and displays. To fix it, simply tighten the two screws on the back and apply the rubber protection that acts as a gasket to protect the glass. The special shape of the lock also allows the lock cylinder<\/strong> to be used as a handy knob<\/strong> for easy opening and closing, without leaving unsightly marks on the door.
If the showcase or display case has sliding doors,<\/strong> the solution to avoid the hole is the rack lock<\/a><\/strong>. The pawl with a plate-cylinder mechanism slides on a rod, called a rack, saw, or toothed bar: once the key is inserted and turned, the entire block can be slipped out and the sashes slid in. For hinged doors, a lock for single glass door (or double door) is the solution.
